Volunteering
Combine your Safari with   aiding  the local community

Take this opportunity to combine your exploration of Africa's greatest national parks with volunteering and get a closer look at the lives of people in rural Africa. Be part of our community outreach program and admire Africa’s pristine wildlife while teaching at a local rural school or assisting in the food program that feeds the students twice a day. Create unforgettable memories that you'll cherish forever, gain a clear perspective of how a children live in rural Africa and give back to a community filled with love and gratitude while you take a break from your safari.

Assist at a local community school:

Bring your knowledge and skills to eager children by engaging with them and teaching them English, math or general knowledge and assist with extracurricular activities like sports and art.

Rural schools in Tanzania are very vibrant places with pupils extremely willing to learn. Don't worry if you feel your strengths lie outside these areas, the children you teach will benefit from your enthusiasm and your ability to construct sentences in English. Games and sports are another important part of school life, so be prepared to get involved with these as well.

Classes can be large and the willingness to learn high so having volunteers available makes a genuine difference both to the pressure on local teachers and the education students receive. Volunteers also gain teaching experience while helping to broaden the horizons of students and providing valuable exposure to the English language.
